Risk disclosure

This disclosure sets out the risks of trading leveraged financial markets and draws the line around what the Fondeobot software is and is not. Read it before you buy.

Trading leveraged markets carries the risk of loss

Trading leveraged financial instruments carries a high level of risk. You can lose the capital you commit, and leverage magnifies losses as much as gains: small moves in the market produce large effects on the position.

With a funded account, that risk also covers what you paid for the evaluation or challenge, which is lost if the account does not meet its conditions.

Markets can move abruptly and without warning. No strategy, manual or automated, removes that risk.

Past results guarantee nothing about future ones

No past result of any strategy, real or simulated, tells you what will happen next. Market conditions change, and a strategy that worked over one period may not work over the next.

The same goes for simulated or backtested results: they are produced over data that is already known and they do not reproduce real execution conditions.

No guarantee of passing a challenge, or of keeping a funded account

Fondeobot LLC guarantees no pass of any evaluation, challenge or phase of any prop firm, and no continuation of an account that is already funded.

The conditions under which an account is passed, kept or lost are set by each prop firm, not by Fondeobot. Knowing them and meeting them is down to the account holder.

The price of the software does not depend on the outcome: failing an evaluation gives no right to a refund, as set out in the terms and conditions.

The software is not investment advice

The bot executes a set of programmed rules. It does not weigh up your personal circumstances, your objectives or your risk profile, and so it is not financial advice and not a personal investment recommendation.

What is published in the signals channel is information for its subscribers, not a recommendation tailored to anybody's particular situation.

Automating the trading does not reduce market risk: it executes decisions faster and more consistently, and that includes faster when the market goes against you.

Fondeobot provides no regulated investment services

Fondeobot LLC is a software company. It is not an investment firm, it is not registered with the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores — the Spanish securities regulator — or with any equivalent supervisor in any other jurisdiction, and it is not authorised to provide investment services.

It runs no portfolios and manages nobody else's capital, it neither receives nor holds client funds, and it has no access to the money in their account. The bot runs on the client's account, and the client keeps control of it at all times.

The identifying details of the company are in the legal notice.

The decision is yours

Before buying, read the terms and conditions and make sure you understand how the product works and what rules your prop firm imposes.

Commit only money you can afford to lose, and weigh up your financial situation and your tolerance for risk before you trade. If you are unsure whether this is right for you, speak to a properly authorised professional.
