How the bots are built and validated

With StrategyQuant, and it is more than a backtest: every strategy goes through robustness testing before it joins the portfolio.

The bots are developed and analysed with StrategyQuant, a platform built for creating and validating algorithmic trading strategies.

A conventional backtest checks a strategy against historical data and little else. StrategyQuant also puts it through robustness testing, which is what helps to spot over-optimised strategies and to see how one behaves in different market scenarios.

The bots that pass that testing are not sold on their own: they are combined inside a single account, with different logics trading at the same time.

The portfolio is backtested with StrategyQuant over market history going back to 2017, on real market data and with the broker's spread and commissions taken into account. Counting those costs is what separates a serious backtest from a shop-window one: leave them out and any curve improves on its own.

It is a backtest, not a live trading record: simulated trades over past data, not an account actually running. It is there to check that the behaviour does not depend on a single market period, and it says nothing about what it will do from here.

What the service includes

  1. Licence for the system

The bots in the portfolio, licensed for your funded account. The specific terms of the licence are set out in the contract.

  2. Remote installation

We do it: terminal, VPS, bot files and a check that it is running.

  3. Parameter configuration

Risk per trade, daily loss limit, news filter and session hours, all set against your firm's rulebook.

  4. VIP signal channel

Two or three trades a day, posted by a trader on the team. They are informational signals: whether to follow them is the account holder's decision.

  5. Infrastructure

VPS included: server spec and provisioning, location chosen for your broker, and the terminal set to start on its own.

  6. Technical support

A direct channel to the team for faults and questions about how it works.

  7. Updates

New versions of the system, and readjustments when a prop firm changes its conditions.

Not included: the cost of the prop firm evaluation

What the installation looks like

Four steps between signing up and the first trade. Three of them are ours.

  1. Client

    Technical questionnaire and signed contract

Firm, account size, assigned broker and platform. We confirm the combination allows automation before we issue an invoice.

  2. Fondeobot

    VPS provisioning and environment prep

Server in the broker's region, terminal installed, automatic start-up, and remote access handed over to the client.

  3. Fondeobot

    Setup session and parameter configuration

Loading the EA, activating the licence, setting risk and limits, and a test on a demo account with the same broker.

  4. Client · support

    Go-live on the funded account

Supervised switch-on and a checklist against the firm's rules.

How each account is configured

Separately, account by account. What gets adjusted are the limits the strategies trade within, not their logic, which is the same for everyone.

Position size and the rest of the execution parameters are set against the size of your account and your prop firm's rulebook, and they are reviewed with each update to the system.

That does not change who trades or who controls the account. The configuration happens in the setup session and with each update, not trade by trade, and every configuration respects the rules and conditions of the prop firm in question.

The same portfolio can run on your own account at your own broker, not only on a funded account. What changes are the limits it is configured with, because there is no prop firm rulebook to respect there; the software is the same.

Compatibility by prop firm

Each firm's limits shape how the system is configured, and they are limits a bot can hit without its owner noticing.

We work with FTMO, The Prop Trade and Xfunded.

Of the three, FTMO is the only one whose limits we have gone through against its own public pages, source by source and with the date we checked them: what FTMO allows and bans with expert advisors. We have not verified The Prop Trade's or Xfunded's yet, so we do not publish them: we would rather say nothing than say it without a source.

Before we take payment we confirm that your combination of firm, account and platform allows automated trading. Each firm sets its own conditions and can change them whenever it likes.

Frequently asked questions

Are bots allowed at prop firms?
It depends on the firm, and it is something to check in its rulebook before you sign up. Of the three we work with, FTMO's limits are broken down against its own public pages on our rules page; we have not verified The Prop Trade's or Xfunded's. We do not sell licences for firms that ban automation.
Do I need technical knowledge to install it?
No. Our team handles the installation and the configuration in a remote session. After that you only need to leave the VPS running and tell us if you change account or broker.
Is the VPS included in the price?
Yes, with both ways of buying. We choose the server, set it up, install the terminal and leave it configured to start on its own, so the system keeps trading even with your computer switched off. You do not have to rent anything yourself or pay a separate monthly fee.
What happens if my prop firm changes its rules?
Each firm sets its own conditions and can change them whenever it likes. That is why the price includes updates to the system, which is how the bot adapts when the environment it trades in changes. Complying with the rulebook remains the account holder's responsibility.
Do you guarantee that I will pass the evaluation?
No. We sell software and its rollout, not results. Any trading with leveraged instruments can end in a loss, and no configuration guarantees passing an evaluation phase.
How is it invoiced and what documentation do I get?
A Spanish invoice with VAT, a licence agreement, and a signed parameter sheet after the setup. With the lower entry plus profit share option, the contract also sets out how the 30% of the profits you make is calculated and when it is settled.

Tell us your firm and your account, and we will confirm whether the system is compatible.

No sales call: you tell us the firm, the account size and the platform, and we answer in writing.
